Support Basement Roma’s exhibition program

Basement Roma is a center for contemporary art founded in Rome in 2012 and run by CURA. Conceived as a physical extension of the editorial work of CURA., Basement Roma focuses on the purposes and quests of the new generations of international artists, the new media, digital culture, and new languages. Its exhibition program delves into the most current proposals of the contemporary art scene in its most avant-garde and significant expressions, enlarging the boundaries of the local scene with new experimentation forms and to the most relevant contemporary artists. Basement Roma also questions the role and the cultural positioning of a liminal, independent, and self-sustained art space in Italy.
